Context
The company : Based in Liège, Belgium, Cytomine Corporation SA develops a range of solutions in the field of Digital Pathology including automated analysis of biomedical images using AI.
The software : Used as a virtual microscope in teaching and complex diseases diagnosis in biomedical research, the Cytomine software is a web platform for collaborative analysis of very large bio-medical images and semi‑automatic processing of large image collections using machine learning algorithms.
Responsibilities:
As a member of the R&D team, you will set up optimized and automated deployment, maintenance and monitoring processes around the Cytomine platform (Open Source and Proprietary versions). You will be in direct contact with client for needs evaluation and support. You have a "solution driven" mind that allows you to find innovative solutions for new opportunities.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Deploy, maintain, and monitor Cytomine customers instances.
- Analyse customer requirements and review the technical feasibility.
- Continuously review and improve practices in the company including but not limited to CI/CD, VM Monitoring, security, deployment process.
- Maintain internal support tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins) for the company.
- Remain at the cutting edge by keeping a technology watch into these domains in collaboration with our researcher’s community.
- Actively participate in team meetings as an actor of innovation within the company.
- Optimize the technical aspects of the onboarding process of the company.
Current main technologies environment:
- Linux, Bash, Docker, Virtualization (KVM), Nginx, PostgreSQL, Python, MongoDB, RabbitMQ.
Profile:
- Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in Engineering or Computer Science (high school or university).
- Experience and/or knowledge in Medical Informatics or equivalent is an advantage.
- Passionate by DevOps.
- Strong experience with Linux (Debian, Ubuntu) .
- Experience in CI/CD (Jenkins), Docker, SQL databases, web servers, infrastructure monitoring, networking.
- Experience in service-oriented architecture.
- Experience with version control system (Git, Gitlab, Github).
- Experience with technologies of the Cytomine stack (Java, Spring, SQL, Python) is an advantage.
- Experience with Ansible, Kubernetes is an advantage.
- Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Graphana) is an advantage.
- Experience in log management is an advantage.
