Following the end of CYTOMINE CORPORATION SA's commercial activities in July 2024, all the company's assets were taken over by the University of Liège (Belgium).

As part of its research and teaching missions, the University of Liège is taking back the lead on the development and maintenance of the Cytomine platform.

Cytomine used to share pathology slides between Norway and Armenia

Cytomine was used in Yerevan, Armenia to start the Eurasia Oral Pathology project.

The Cytomine system impressed pathologists by working flawlessly trough a 4G mobile link exchanging and annotating 5GB image files from Bergen in Norway and Yerevan.
